How bets settle

What happens after the fight: wins pay $1 a share, draws pay 50¢ a share, and you collect with a claim.

When the fight is over, the market settles on the official result, and every share gets its final value.

The three outcomes

Result What each share pays What you do
Your fighter wins $1 Claim it
No winner (draw or voided fight) 50¢ Claim it
Your fighter loses $0 Nothing

Your fighter wins

Every share you hold pays $1. If you bought 25 shares at 40¢, you collect $25.

No winner

If the market settles without naming a winner, like after a draw, it settles 50/50: every share on both sides pays 50¢. The same goes for a no contest or a cancelled fight whenever the market settles it without a winner. That's not a full refund. If you paid 40¢ a share, you get a bit more back than you paid. If you paid 70¢, you get less.

Your fighter loses

The shares are worth nothing. The position leaves your Positions list and shows as a Loss in your History.

Collect your winnings with a claim

Settled winnings move into your Cash when they're claimed.

  • All at once. A Winnings ready to claim card shows on your Dashboard and Wallet. Tap Claim all. If you signed in with email, Google or a passkey, the app usually claims for you when you open one of those pages.
  • One bet. In your Wallet, on the Positions tab, a settled winning or drawn position shows Claim where Sell used to be. Tap it. You'll see "Claiming winnings..." and then Claimed $X USDC.

The money goes to your Cash balance, ready to bet again or withdraw. More in Claiming winnings.

When does it settle?

It doesn't settle the second the fight ends. The market has to settle on the official result first. Until then, your position still shows Sell, and its price often moves toward 100% or 0% as the result becomes clear.

You can still sell during that time if someone is buying. Once the price hits the top of the scale, selling no longer works, so wait to claim instead. See Cashing out early.

If your bet never went through

Sometimes a bet is accepted but never matched with a seller. In that case no money moved, and the bet counts as neither a win nor a loss.
